As a self-taught baker and sugar paste artist, NWConfections has devoted herself to perfect her craft & designs. Laura expresses her passion through experienced Customer Service, art and design. With these she expresses herself while bringing forth your vision. She states she is most passionate about her delicate handmade sugar paste flowers.
In 2015, Laura entered her first competition at the Oregon State Fair, into the Creative Living Department. Her competitive nature was reignited and two years later, she entered as a professional. 2020 offered opportunities to collaborate and NWConfections was featured in the Oregonian-Oregon Live & the Tiny House Magazine.

You may know NWConfecitions formerly as Cakes by Laura, LLC. Laura took time off to care for my ex who had a stroke. Then Covid 19 hit!
